Swimming Fall

Oneida CountyThe leaves are beginning to fade and grow tired as we’re saying goodbye to summer and hello to fall.

Despite the changing of seasons, there’s still time to enjoy a day in some of our local waters. Gov. Cuomo announced additional swimming days in state parks across New York, including our own Delta Lake State Park Beach. The dates include this Friday and Saturday, September 9 and 10 and also the Weekend of September 16-17.

Both weekends have the same swim time, 11:00am-7:00pm. “New York is home to some of the world’s most unparalleled state parks and by extending swimming days at beaches and pools across the state, we invite more New Yorkers to get out and enjoy all these parks have to offer,” said Gov. Cuomo.
