Primary Voting Yesterday was primary day and several locations throughout our local area held elections to determine whose names will be on the ballot for this November election. Here are the unofficial results obtained from the Board of Elections.

Boonville Town Justice- Nadine McIntyre won against James Galler 155-99. Both ran on the Republican Party-line.

Boonville Town Council- Three names appeared and voters were to select two candidates. Joel Bailey received 172 votes, David Stocklosa received 147 and Wayne Weiler received 122. All three ran on the Republican Party-line.

Constableville Mayor- Allan F. Klossner won the position with 24 votes against Wayne Gerhartz, who received 12 votes. Both ran on the Republican Party-line.

Floyd Highway Superintendent- Jerome Alexander Jr. defeated Randy Ramsey 262-154, as both candidates ran on the Republican Party-line.

Village of Harrisville Trustee- Three candidates appeared on the primary ballot. Voters were to select two. Richard Malbeuf received 21, Thomas Best received 19 and Kelly Ritz received 10 votes. All three ran on the Republican Party-line.

Town of Lyonsdale Council- Three candidates appeared on the primary ballot. Voters were to select two. William Marmon received 77 votes. Keith Todd received 69 votes and Nancy O’Brien Dailey received 61 votes. All candidates ran on the Republican Party-line.

Town of Lyonsdale Supervisor- Philip Boardman won the position, receiving 71 votes, against David Butts, who received 48 votes. Both candidates ran on the Republican Party-line.

Town of Osceola Clerk- Mallory Sullivan Douglas defeated Ginny Churchill 24-16 as both candidates ran on the Republican Party-line.

Town of Russia Justice- Three candidates appeared on the primary ballot. Voters were to select two. Louis Gauthier Sr. received 98 votes. John Bates received 72 votes. Gary Phillips received 64 votes. All three ran on the Republican Party-line.

Town of Trenton Clerk- Stanley Harris claimed the position with 162 vote’s against Terralyn Gouger, who received 123 votes. Both candidates ran on the Republican Party-line.

Town of Webb Council- Three candidates appeared on the primary ballot. Voters were to select two. Michael Ross received 127 votes. Donald Haehl received 108 votes. William Tormey received 91 votes. All three ran on the Republican Party-line.

Town of West Turin Highway Superintendent- Robert Greene took the position with 79 votes against Douglas Salmon, who received 60 votes. Both candidates ran on the Republican Party-line and also claimed one vote each on the Conservative Party-line.

County Legislative Districts:
Oneida County District 12 (Rome/Floyd)- Michael Brown won the position against Barbara Calandra, with 104 votes. Calandra received 51 votes. Both candidates ran on the Democrat Party-line.
