Janet Elizabeth Faber Egnew, 52, of Rome, NY passed away suddenly September 2, 2017.

Janet was born November 5, 1964 along with her twin Jerry Faber. Janet was raised on the farm in Durhamville with her four sisters and four brothers. She was the daughter of Casmer J. Faber and Joyce A. Faber. Janet graduated from V.V.S. high school a Thea-Rho girl.

On May 5, 1990, Janet married the love of her life Dale E. Egnew who passed away August 26, 1998. Janet was very proud of her daughter Julie Vanslyke, her sons Daniel and Jarred Egnew, and step children Missy and Chris Egnew. Janet was a longtime follower of Christ and a volunteer of the Red Cross.

Janet leaves behind four brothers, David, Jim, John and her twin Jerry along with two sisters, Nancy and Linda. She was predeceased by two sisters, Judy and Kathy, her parents, Joyce and Casmer and her nephew Justin. She leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends.

Janet’s funeral will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post Street, Boonville. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3 – 7 p.m. Burial will be in Boonville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Salvation Army or donate blood to the Red Cross.
