LOWVILLE- Officials say the Residential Health Care Facility at Lewis County Health System has re-opened all floors to in-person visitation.

The announcement was made Tuesday after the facility closed-off visitation May 18 when two positive COVID results appeared in a pair of employees.

Per the latest guidelines, a nursing home facility must last two-weeks without any confirmed positive COVID results before resuming any visitation.

Visitation theoretically was supposed to open back up on June 1, but another positive test result May 24 set the two-week clock back all over.
