Trenton- Three Utica Teenagers were stopped by the New York State Police last night at 9:40pm on State Route 12 in the Town of Trenton, resulting in several charges.

State Troopers from the Remsen Barracks did not release the names of the two eighteen and one seventeen-year-old male suspects. The eighteen-year-old driver was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (Stimulants), a Class C Felony, Unlawful Possession of Alcohol (Under the age of 21), a Violation, and two infraction charges of Speeds in Excess of 55mph and Drinking Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle on a Highway.

The other two suspects were charged with Unlawful Possession of Alcohol (Under the age of 21), a Violation and Drinking Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle on a Highway, both Infractions. The drivers arrest status was listed as held. The passengers were issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Trenton Court at a later date. No further details were released.
