West Leyden Church

West Leyden- The Dutch Reformed Church in West Leyden has teamed up with a local auto parts shop to send a truck filled with needed items to Texas, for the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

As it was mentioned yesterday, area residents are encouraged to drop off any and all sorts of personal hygiene items at the church, on State Route 26 near the State Route 294 intersection, today from 11:00am-2:00pm and tomorrow from 9:30am-2:00pm.

Organizers of the cause say a shipment was already sent down and the second one will depart sometime this coming week. Items that can be dropped off include tooth-brushes, toothpaste, soaps and etc.
