TOWN OF DIANA-November 14, 2017. Human remains were found this morning a few miles from where Kenneth McCall went missing five months ago.

A a state forest ranger commander told a reporter from WWNY TV 7 News that a body was found in a heavily wooded area near Aldrich Settlement Road and Nelson Road in the town of Diana. That location is three miles from where twenty-four year old McCall was last seen walking with his girlfriend on Tidd Road in the town of Diana around 4 a.m. on June 13. McCall's family members were on the scene and were told a body had been found. The forest ranger commander said a backpack belonging to McCall was found Monday, prompting a three-hour search Tuesday that ended when the body was found. Inside the backpack were McCall's wallet, ID and glasses. An autopsy will be performed to identify the remains.
