VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE-November 14, 2017. A Harrisville man was arrested this morning for allegedly possessing and cashing a stolen and forged check.

Lowville Village Police said Timothy C. Ayers Sr. possessed a stolen and forged check in the amount of twenty dollars and reportedly cashed the said check at Tops Market without the owner’s consent. Ayers was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree, a Class D felony. He was arraigned in Lowville Village Court and was released on his own recognizance.
