2 sentenced in county court

2 men were sentenced yesterday in Lewis County Court.  According to the court report compiled by Johnson Newspapers, 22 year old Daniel Nentwick of Fayetteville was sentenced to 1½ years in state prison on a charge of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He also was recommended for the state prison system's 90-day Willard Drug Rehabilitation Program, which allows inmates who successfully complete it to serve the remainder of their prison sentences under parole supervision.  30 year old Nicholas Compo of Watertown, following successful completion of Drug Court, was allowed to withdraw a felony aggravated DWI charge and plead guilty to misdemeanor aggravated DWI. He then was sentenced to probation, a $2,500 fine, an 18-month driver's license revocation and mandatory participation in the ignition interlock program.
