Lewis- A 32-year-old Turin, NY man faces a list of charges after police conducted a traffic stop Saturday night in the town of Lewis.

State Troopers from the Lowville Barracks report Philip R. Reiter was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operator (3rd-degree), a Class “U” Misdemeanor, and several infractions; including equipment violations of exhaust system, safety glass, no license and sub-standard lights. He was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation.

All charges stem from a reported traffic stop on State Route 26, Saturday, April 14 at 8:17pm. Reiter was issued appearance tickets returnable to the town of Lewis Court at a later date. No further information was released.
