Croghan- A 29-year-old Churubusco, NY man is accused of a felony offense following police investigations into a Village of Croghan fraud incident.

State Troopers from the Lowville Barracks report Brent J. Donahue was charged with 1st-degree Scheme to Defraud (property value greater than $1,000), a Class “E” Felony, stemming from an alleged incident reported to police on May 10, 2018.

In a separate case, State Troopers from the Carthage Barracks charged Mr. Donahue with Petit Larceny (Class “A” Misdemeanor) following an alleged town of Champion incident reported on May 14, 2018.

Brent’s arrest status was listed as cash bail for both reports. No further information was provided.
