Boonville, NY- No one was injured when a truck broke a power pole after being side-swiped by a car last night in the village.

The Boonville Fire Department and emergency services were called out at around 8:20pm Thursday for reports of a two car MVA near the intersection of Main and Grove Streets. Fire Chief Dave Pritchard said a truck was traveling south on Main Street and was sideswiped by a car heading north. Pritchard said the encounter caused the truck to veer off the road and crash into a power pole, causing it to break.

EMS crews said everyone that was involved with the accident was uninjured and signed off from treatment. According to Chief Pritchard, the Boonville Police Department investigated the accident.
