HAMLET OF WEST LEYDEN-February 10, 2019.  A 34 year old West Leyden man was arrested for D.W.I. and other charges Saturday evening following a traffic stop on the Osceola Road in the Hamlet of West Leyden.

Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jeremy A. Nellenback after he was observed operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration northbound on State Route 26. A traffic stop was initiated after Nellenback turned the car onto Osceola Road. During the investigation it was determined that Nellenback was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Nellenback was processed at the Public Safety Building and released with appearance tickets for Driving While Intoxicated and D.W.I. with a Blood Alcohol Content of greater than .08%., both unclassified misdemeanors. He was also charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration and Operating Without Insurance, a traffic infraction. He will answer the charges in the Town of Lewis Court.
