Kenneth Tennant 3rd

A town of Lee man allegedly had an inappropriate conversation with a teenage girl and is now facing a misdemeanor charge.

According to officials from the Oneida County Sheriff's Office and the Child Advocacy Center, Kenneth Tennant III, 31, was arrested Tuesday for one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

It’s alleged that Tennant III engaged in inappropriate Facebook Messenger conversations with a 14-year-female in March of this year.

Tennant III was arraigned at Rome City Court and remanded to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail. Officials said an order of protection was issued by the court on behalf of the victim. The teen was offered services through the Child Advocacy Center.
