High School Varsity Baseball Section III Playoffs:

Class B:
-Adirondack Baseball (11) defeated South Jefferson (6) 6-2 and advance to the quarter finals against VVS (3) Tuesday, May 28.
-In a shocking defeat, Holland Patent Baseball (1) lost to Clinton 5-3.
-Lowville Baseball fell short against Port Byron/Union Springs 9-3.

Class C:
-Beaver River Baseball (6) beat Westmoreland (11) 12-1 and advance to the quarter finals against Tully (14) Tuesday, May 28.
-South Lewis Baseball (8) defeated LaFayette (9) 12-1 and move on to the quarter finals against Oriskany (1) Tuesday, May 28.

MLB:
-The Mets lost against the Tigers 9-8.
-The Red Sox fell short to the Astros 4-3.
-The Yankees v. the Royals was postponed.
-The Orioles lost to the Rockies 8-6.
-The Blue Jays took defeat against the Padres 6-3.
-The Braves beat the Cardinals 5-2.
-The Phillies topped the Brewers 6-4.
-The Dodgers slammed the Pirates 10-2.
-The Cubs lost a heart-breaker to the Cubs 6-5.

NBA Playoffs:
-The Raptors host the Bucks in game five of the Eastern Finals tonight at 8:30 p.m. Check your local listings.

NASCAR:
-Monster Energy Cup Racing continues Sunday night, May 26; featuring the famous ‘Coca-Cola 600’ at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The green flag is set to wave at 6:00 p.m. Check your local listings.
