Croghan- Police arrested a North Country man late Friday night for felony DWI in Croghan.

Jeremy J. Davoy, 41, of Croghan, NY was stopped by Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputies on the Barker Road for allegedly failing to keep right. Authorities said the incident occurred at around 11:15 p.m.

Davoy reportedly failed field sobriety tests, administered by police, and was taken to the Public Safety Building for processing.

While there, he was charged with Felony DWI and Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st-degree. In addition, police also charged Davoy with violating his ignition interlock device, failure to submit a breath test and failure to keep right.

Following his arraignment in the Town of New Bremen Court, Davoy was released and was scheduled to appear at a later date.
