Lowville, NY- With the local primary election now moved from September to June, residents in Lewis County are reminded of Wednesday's meet the primary candidates forum at Lowville Academy.

Slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. June 12, this forum will feature a local media panel and will provide opportunity for community members to interact and ask the candidates questions. This year's 2019 Republican Primary candidates include: Jake Moser and John Healt for Lewis County Clerk; Denise Yost and Eric Virkler for County Treasurer; six candidates for County Legislature seats, which include: District 4: Thomas Schantz and Ian Gilbert, District 5: Erik Griffin and Richard Chartrand and in District 7: Greg Kulzer and Joshua Leviker.
