Town of West Turin- Police say a Lyons Falls, NY woman is facing a misdemeanor charge, following an alleged shoplifting incident Saturday in the town of West Turin.

Jing Mei Chow-Wheater, 39, was arrested Wednesday evening for one count of petit larceny, said the New York State Police in Lowville.

Chow-Wheater was issued an appearance ticket. Police provided no additional details in their daily blotter.
