Lewis County Sheriffs Office 2

Lowville, NY- The budget battle between Lewis County Sheriff Michael Carpinelli and the board of legislators, which began in June after steaming up for quite some time, has been partially settled.

In the latest information from WWNY-TV, lawmakers and the sheriff agreed on terms that will pay for firearms, which the department ordered, while also partially restoring parks and recreation patrols.

In addition, the sheriff told reporters how this deal will also include full patrols at the Lewis County Fair.
