Lewis County, NY- State Route 26 near Constableville was closed down for a period of time Tuesday after emergency services responded to an overturned tractor trailer.

Authorities said traffic was directed around the scene to Adam Road, where motorists eventually came back out onto the main roadway. Route 26 officially re-opened at around 5:00 p.m. that afternoon.

According to emergency officials, the tractor trailer rig was loaded up with wood chips.

The rig was eventually flipped upright, thanks to teamwork by local responders. No additional details are available at this time.
