Trenton- A school bus was destroyed by flames Tuesday morning in Oneida County.

Emergency authorities told reporters from WKTV that the bus is an older model and had been taken out of service. The incident reportedly occurred on Route 12 in the Town of Trenton, authorities said.

The bus driver’s testimony claims he noticed some light smoke and pulled into a rest area and that’s when the bus caught fire.

No injuries were reported, but first responders are reporting heavy damage to the bus. There were no children or any other passengers on board when the incident occurred.
