Governor Andrew Cuomo signed in July the Farm Workers bill, which was created to grant farm employees overtime pay, one full day of rest per-week, disability and paid family leave coverage, unemployment benefits and other labor protections.

One of the biggest concerns over this measure, according to State Senator and Deputy Minority Leader Joe Griffo, is that small family farms will struggle even more with this bill to make ends meet. Catch up on the senator's comments here:
