Boonville, NY- On Friday, November 8, 2019, all Military Veterans and their families are invited to the Boonville Elementary School to attend their Veterans Day Assembly.

The assembly will start at 9:00 am, with access to the gymnasium starting at 8:45 am. Handicap access will be available through the District Office doors located on the back side of the building.

This Veterans Day Ceremony will be conducted by a combined color guard from the Charles J. Love, DSC Post 406 American Legion, the Harland J. Hennessey Post 5538 VFW and the Tun Tavern Leathernecks MCL Det. 961. The speaker for the ceremony is retired USAF Lt. Col. Cathy Duncan.

The 5th grade chorus, under the direction of Claire Haile, Adirondack Central School District Vocal Teacher will sing several songs. Taps will be performed by Breanna Stiefvater, a Senior at Adirondack High School.

At the conclusion of the assembly, Veterans and their guests will be invited to a reception in the cafeteria.
