Town of Russia- Authorities have announced the arrest of a Poland, NY man, who is now faced with several accusations that stem from an alleged domestic dispute in the Town of Russia.

UPDATE as of Wednesday, Decmeber 11.

According to the New York State Police in Herkimer, Mathew E. Bienick, 42, was charged at just after midnight Tuesday with felony criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd-degree, three misdemeanors of menacing in the 2nd-degree (weapon), reckless endangerment in the 2nd-degree and unlawful imprisonment in the 2nd-degree, plus a violation of harassment in the 2nd-degree (w/physical contact).

Police say the alleged incident was initially reported on the morning of December 9 at 6:23 a.m. At press time, Bienick’s arrest status was last listed as cash bail. The investigation is still pending, according to police.
