Lowville Food Pantry

LOWVILLE, NY- The general public is invited to an upcoming ceremony, where a new van and trailer will be delivered to the Lowville Food Pantry.

This has been made possible, thanks to a grant from Lions Club International Foundation, including donations from Lowville Lions Club, as well as generous donations from various local businesses and organizations.

“Several months ago, as we were identifying various needs within our community, it was concluded that the Lowville Food Pantry was in dire need of a new vehicle,” Lowville Lions Club Hunger Chair Tom Spaulding said. “It was from there we began strategically planning how to make this happen. From that, the idea of a trailer also evolved. Without the generous support of local businesses, this project would have never happened.”

The van and trailer will be presented to the Lowville Food Pantry on Wednesday, January 22 in the showroom of Essenlohr Motors at 4:30 p.m.
