LOWVILLE- A new Nurse Manager for LCGH Medical-Surgical and ICU has been appointed.
According to hospital officials, Anna Birchenough, BS, RN, received her Associate in Applied Science at St. Elizabeth College of Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the State University of Polytechnic Institute in Utica, New York.
She is Certified in Critical Care and basic life, advanced cardiac, and pediatric life support.
"We are pleased that Anna has returned to her hometown hospital. Anna brings skills of a leader to the acute care arena. Her approach will create a culture of engagement and trust," Chief Nursing Officer Neva Bossard said.
Most recently, she was employed within the county as a Registered Nurse II with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
In addition, Birchenough has also worked as a registered nurse in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and the Vascular Access Team at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY, and in the Emergency Department, East Wing and ICU departments at Lewis County General Hospital.
