FORESTPORT- Charges will be filed against a group of trespassers who were caught on the Kayuta Lake train trestle Thursday evening, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say the complaint was called in at 7:15 p.m.

Members from the sheriff’s office recreation unit, road patrol and a New York State Forest Ranger all responded and reportedly located a group of two-dozen individuals who were gathered on the state owned railroad trestle.

Deputies say there are various no trespassing signs clearly marked for the area of the railroad trestle.

Authorities did not yet specify any names or ages of the accused, but made note that trespass related charges will be filed at a later date.
