A joint investigation of the Child Protective Unit of the Lewis County Department of Social Services & the Lewis County Sheriff's Department has resulted in the arrest of a 35 year old Beaver Falls man. Sheriff's Deputies report that Billie Wilmot was apprehended on a bench warrant issued by Lewis County Court following a sealed indictment handed down by a grand jury charging him with 2 counts of rape 3rd degree, 5 counts of criminal sex act 3rd degree, 1 count of criminal sex act 1st degree, 2 counts of sex abuse 1st degree, which are all felonies,
along with 4 misdemeanor counts of sexual abuse 3rd degree.  Investigators report that the alleged incidents occurred over a period of several months at a residence in the Town of Croghan.  The alleged victims were 2
females less than 17 years of age, who were known to Wilmot.  Following arraignment, Wilmot was released
under probation supervision to reappear at a later date in Lewis County Court.
