Boonville Firemen were called out twice this morning. Fire Chief Dave Pritchard reports that the 1st call was at
2:35 a.m. for a fire at the June Decker residence on Reed Lane.  A fire started in the chimney that spread into the attic & down through the ceiling into the kitchen & living areas.  The firemen put a good stop on the fire & there was no need to call for mutual aid.  While firemen were battling the fire on Reed Lane, they were called to the Cerro residence on Main Street.  Some firefighters responded & checked that home & found a faulty carbon monoxide detector.  Firemen returned to service at 5:10 a.m. this morning.
