The on-site child care facility at a Lewis County manufacturer will close its doors at the end of the year, citing declining enrollment.  Caboodles Child Care Center, located on the Otis Technology property in Lyons Falls, informed parents on October 15th that it was ending operations due to decreased enrollment and other factors.  Approximately 50 children are enrolled at the center, with 10 employees to be laid off, according to the company.  A press release stated that Otis & Bright Horizons, which the firm that managed Caboodles, are
committed to supporting the affected families and staff as they seek new child care facilities and jobs.
