A 54 year old Carthage man is facing charges stemming from a traffic stop Saturday night on State Route 126 in the Town of Champion. Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies report that Stanton Locklear was charged with aggravated DWI, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation, failure to keep right and driving across hazard makings. His blood/alcohol content was allegedly 0.19%. All charges are returnable to Town of Champion Court at a later date.
