Fire heavily damaged a house on Route 46 near Boonville. Boonville Fire Chief Dave Pritchard reports that the fire was reported at the Evelyn Moonan residence at around 2:42 p.m.  Western, Remsen, & Constableville Fire Departments joined Boonville with mutual aid with Woodgate & Forestport Firefighters placed on standby.  Chief Pritchard reported that the fire damaged the 1st & 2nd floors & the home is unlivable.  The fire appears to be
electrical in nature & took 2 hours for firefighters to bring under control.  No injuries were reported.
