The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks joined with the Town of Webb School Key & Builders Clubs along with the Kommunity Youth & Activity Center on Halloween to collect cash rather than candy, raising over $225. While participants were out collecting, the activity center was open with pizza & soda available to them as well as all trick-or-treaters, who were welcome to visit. All proceeds were donated to the Eliminate Project, where Kiwanis International teams with UNICEF to eliminate maternal & neonatal tetanus, which claims around 60,000 babies & a significant number of women each year.
