A 26 year old Port Leyden man was charged with assault 3rd degree.  State Police report that Mitchell Smith was charged stemming from a June 30th incident at the Moose River Fish & Game Club, where a car door was swung open & struck a 19 year old Oneida man in the face & body.  Smith will answer the charge in Town of Lyonsdale Court at a later date.
