A 67 year old Turin woman was injured following a snowmobile accident that occurred at around 12:25 p.m. Friday afternoon at the intersection of the McKay & Plummer Roads in the Town of West Turin.  Lewis County Sheriff's Deputies reported on Tuesday that a snowmobile operated by 51 year old David Shafner of Elbridge
allegedly failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign & entered the intersection, where he collided with a snowmobile driven by Beverly Pedersen.  The impact caused both operators to be ejected from their machines.
Pedersen was transported by Constableville Ambulance to the Lewis County General Hospital Emergency Room, where she was treated & later released.  No tickets were issued.
