A 39 year old Utica woman is facing a charge of DWI. Lowville Police report that Mary Butler was charged stemming from a 2-car property damage accident that occurred at around 8 p.m. Saturday night on North State Street, where Butler reportedly hit the car traveling in front of her. After failing field sobriety tests at the scene, she was taken to the Public Safety Building, where she allegedly registered a 0.10% blood/alcohol content. Butler was issued tickets for DWI & following too closely, returnable to Village of Lowville Court at a later date.
