Over $75,000 was recently gifted to the ARC Oneida-Lewis Chapter to help support its guardianship and recreation programs.

The grants were thanks to the Trustee Management Board of NYSARC Trust Services.

According to officials, the ARC Oneida-Lewis was first awarded $47,000 towards its guardianship program. The organization currently provides guardianship services to seven people, with additional resources on stand-by – ready to assist seven more.

Another $28,395 was granted to support and enhance new recreational opportunities that enrich the lives of over 1,400 people served by the ARC.

For this year, the NYSARC Trust Services is aimed to award over $3-million to ARC chapters statewide, fulfilling their commitment of enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.
