JEFFERSON COUNTY- The North Country man originally accused of causing a crash as he recklessly drove over 100-mph on Watertown’s Arsenal Street last fall will spend time behind bars.

Skylar Willsie of Glenfield, NY appeared in Jefferson County Court recently, where he was sentenced to three-months in jail, plus five-years of probation.

This development is according to WWNY-TV.

Authorities in Jefferson County investigated a wreck that occurred on October 14 last-year, where a pick-up truck smashed into an SUV at a high-rate of speed.

The crash caused several injuries.

Police determined that Willsie was driving his truck over 100-mph on Arsenal Street, where the speed limit is clearly marked at only 30-mph.

He was originally charged with four felony counts of reckless endangerment, accounting for the total of four people between the two vehicles. Willsie was also charged with reckless driving, unlicensed operation and speeding.

This past spring, he pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment.

He was also ordered to pay a fine for speeding.
