LOWVILLE- Another summertime season is upon us and the village of Lowville, NY is pleased to announce the return of Tuesday Night Concerts in the Park.
Aimed to kick-off on June 28, this is the second-year of this initiative, thanks to a village grant secured by local officials.
Opening night will feature a double performance, including the young and local group called ‘Undefeated’ at 5:00 p.m., with the ever popular Nelson Brothers following sometime shortly after 7:00 p.m.
The concerts are held in the Veterans Memorial Park, right behind the fire hall and near the American Legion. The rest of this year’s lineup is as follows:
July 5: Bill Burkhard 6 P.M.
July 12: Josh Breen Duo 6 P.M.
July 19: No band as we celebrate the 201st edition of the Lewis County Fair.
July 26: Is to be determined.
August 2: Doc Yukon 6 P.M.
August 9: Shawn Smith 6 P.M.
August 16: Fritz Polka Band 6 P.M.
August 23: Due North 6 P.M. (Tentatively scheduled after the band on August 23 will be a kid’s movie at dusk with a title to be determined).
The American Legion will be offering food for sale on site and officials are hoping to have a pair of select evenings where the fire department will showcase their fire trucks for the kids to see.
The concert series is made possible thanks to partnerships between the village and Pratt Northam Foundation; AmeriCu and Lewis County.
