A 33 year old Lowville woman was charged with criminal contempt 2nd degree.  Lewis County Sheriff's Deputies report that Jessica Vanwinkle was charged stemming from a complaint from a Turin man, who alleges that Vanwinkle made contact with him by phone after being served with an order or protection ordering her to refrain from any communication.  Vanwinkle was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Town of Turin Court at a later date.
