New York State Police from Lowville charged a 22 year old Lyons Falls man on Friday with an additional charge stemming from an investigation into a personal injury accident that occurred on October 6th in the Town of Lyonsdale.

Mitchel O. Fruin was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class A misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in the Town of Lyonsdale Court.  See the previous story below:

A 22 year old Lyons Falls was placed into custody Friday after his arrest for felony D.W.A.I., felony aggravated vehicle assault, and other charges. The arrest stems from an investigation into a personal injury accident that reportedly occurred on October 6th in the Town of Lyonsdale. New York State Police from the Lowville Barracks charged Mitchel O. Fruin with one count each of  Aggravated Vehicle Assault Injurious to Child Passenger, a class C Felony and Driving While Ability Impaired with two Previous Convictions in the past 10 years, a class D felony. Fruin was also charged with one count each of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor and Reckless Driving, a Class U misdemeanor. The incident remains pending with evidence. No other details were released.
