WEBB- Police say a man from Syracuse, NY was stopped by patrols in the southern Adirondacks Saturday afternoon.

Officials from the Town of Webb Police say the traffic stop took place on State Route 28, where it’s alleged that Nikos Christou, 29, was allegedly speeding 77mph in a 55mph zone.

Investigation led to charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second-degree, unlicensed operation and speeding, according to police.

Christou was processed and released on the charges and is due to appear in the Town of Webb Court at a later date.

Police provided no further details in their report.
