REMSEN- Authorities say a man from Remsen, NY is accused of menacing in the town of Remsen.

The alleged incident was first reported to the New York State Police shortly after 10:15 p.m. Sunday night.

Troopers from the Remsen Barracks charged Anthony D. Spatto, 71, with one count each of menacing in the second-degree(weapon), criminal possession of a weapon (w/intent to use) and endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors.

The arrest was made shortly after midnight on Monday, according to information from the daily blotter.

As of press time, police said an investigation is pending.

Spatto was issued with an appearance ticket and Troopers provided no additional details in their report.
