A 35 year old Rome man is facing several charges stemming from a traffic stop in the Village of Boonville.  Boonville Police report that Gerric Brown was charged with failure to yield the right of way when making a left turn, uninspected motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 3rd degree after he was stopped on State Route 12 when a background check allegedly showed that Brown did not possess a valid driver's license & was suspended for failure to pay child support.  He was issued appearance tickets returnable to Village of Boonville Court July 25th to answer the charges.
