Westernville man accused of aggravated harassment in Steuben, police say

STEUBEN- Police say a man from Westernville, NY is faced with a harassment accusation.

State Police in Remsen said they investigated a complaint from Monday night in the town of Steuben, according to details from the daily blotter.

On Tuesday morning, Troopers reportedly arrested and charged David J. MaGuire, 57, with one misdemeanor count of aggravated harassment in the second-degree (communicating a threat).

At press time, police said MaGuire was released on his own recognizance.

There were no further details provided from the State Police in their report.
