Remsen- Maralee C. Upright. 85, formerly of Pritchard Road, and Main St., Remsen, widow of Joseph F., passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Boonville, while surrounded by the loving care of her family.

Maralee was born in the Town of Remsen, on June 3, 1933, a daughter of Chester H., and Bertha E. Kilb Clark. Her entire life was spent in the vicinity of Remsen, where she graduated from high school, with the Class of 1951. On August 2, 1952, Maralee was united in marriage with Joseph F. Upright, at the Remsen Methodist Church. For 38 years, the couple lived on Pritchard Road, later moving to Old State Rt. 12 and then Main St. in Remsen, before residing at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Boonville, since 2010.
