Viola N. Pratt

Lee Center – Viola N. Pratt, 75, formerly of West Ava Road, passed away at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center on August 31, 2019.

She was born in Rome, NY on April 30, 1944, a daughter of Richard and Martha Beckley Pritchard. She grew up in Point Rock and attended a one room school house in Point Rock and attended high school in West Leyden. Viola married Robert Pratt July 1, 1961 in Taberg, NY. Robert died January 6, 2016. She enjoyed flower gardening and especially loved lilies.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Donna Pratt, Lee Center and Richard Pratt and companion, Rose, Rome; sister, Irene and Myron Smith, Cleveland, NY; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; two sons-in-law, Dale Swancott Jr. and Tom Smith. She was predeceased by two daughters, Laurie Swancott, June 2015 and DeeAnna Smith, January 2019 and one sister, Carol Pritchard.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post Street, Boonville. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Ava Cemetery. For an online message of sympathy please go to www.millsfuneralhomes.com.
