Mary Pauline Karpinski Germanski

Boonville- Mary Pauline Karpinski Germanski, 84 of Route 12D passed away on Sunday evening, October 20, 2019 at Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility, after a short illness.

She was born on September 4, 1935 in Turin, a daughter of Joseph and Anna Waligora Karpinski. Pauline grew up on the East Road and attended Port Leyden High School. She was united in marriage to Edward Germanski, who predeceased her in 1996. The couple lived on Moose River Road before moving to Route 12D, north of Talcottville. She assisted her husband in the operation of a clothing store on Route 12 for several years and when that closed they operated four corners trading post at Potters Corners.

Pauline enjoyed watching soap operas and game shows. She especially loved her cats.

Surviving are a step daughter, Linda and Al Marmon, Lyons Falls, 2 step grandsons, Andy, of Tennessee, and Michael whom she made her home on Route 12D; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers, Edward, Stanley, Raymond Karpinski and her twin, Paul Karpinski, 5 sisters, Charlotte Liss, Stella Doolen, Genevieve Kolick, Jennie Lee and Florence Wieczerzak and 1 step son Carl Germanski.

In keeping with Pauline’s wishes she donated her body to science. There are no calling hours or services.
