Barbara I. Fox

Boonville-Barbara I. Fox, 87, passed away unexpectedly at her home on February 10, 2020.

 

She was born in Rome N.Y. on April 5, 1932 a daughter of Clark and Alice Grinnell Hopper. She grew up in Taberg and graduated from Camden High School. Barb then attended the Utica School of Commerce.  Her  employment  began at  Oneida National Bank, Rome, then Holland Patent School as a secretary and then Agway in Boonville as a bookkeeper.  She enjoyed bowling in various leagues for many years.

 

Surviving are four sons and daughters-in-law, Harold (Hal) and Linda Fox, Boonville, Brian and Valerie Fox, Forestport, Bruce and Beth Fox, Boonville and Kevin and Brenda Fox, Boonville; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a half sister, Geraldine Wells.  She was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Kalk and companion, Clifford Seelman, on January 25, 2016 

 

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Maple Hill Cemetery, Taberg. There are no calling hours, arrangement by Mills Funeral Home, Boonville. For an online message of sympathy go to www.millsfuneralhomes.com
