GLENFIELD - David L. Burdick, 78, of State Route 12, died late Sunday evening, March 24, 2024 with his family at his side.

David was born on September 24, 1945 in Lowville, son of the late Eli Albert and Myrtle Neil (Rudd) Burdick.

David attended General Martin High School. He married Linda L. Hutchins on August 19, 1972 parsonage in Port Leyden with Rev. Lawrence Hurley, officiating.

Surviving are his wife, Linda, their two sons, Mike J. (Peggy) Hutchins; Kevin D. (Bondeana) Burdick; his six grandchildren, his 15 great grandchildren; his two brothers, Everett (Ann) and Albert (Darlene) Burdick; nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his son, Robert D. Burdick.

David was a 30 year member of the 3-G Fire Department, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, and taking pictures.

Calling hours; Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00pm at the Sundquist Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be, Friday, March 29th at 11:00am at the funeral home with Wayne Arnold, Pastor officiating.

Burial will follow in Old Glendale Cemetery. Following the services all are welcome to the 3-G Fire Department for a Celebration of Life. Any food donations or covered dish to pass, may be left off after 8:00am Friday morning at the fire hall.
